Liam Neeson's action-hero reign takes its darkest turn yet in this revenge drama from director Scott Frank, who has been busy on the screenplay front but hasn't helmed a feature film since The Lookout (which I totally need to watch again because it was rather good). This story seems like a good test of the Neeson brand and it thematically it seems like a warm up for the season's other black-hued releases: Gone Girl, Nightcrawler, Kill the Messenger ...
